I don't think we should have so many ranks displayed, just the important ones, like Admiral, Captain, Emperor etc. and perhaps a like the ranks and/or title categories. Just looks a bit crowded at the moment. I never really thought these panels should have every topic on them, more just to give a flavor of the major articles on MA:ID. Thoughts on this? - You're probably right, so I removed a few ranks again. My main reason for adding them in the first place was to get a few more red links on the front page in the hope that people would feel compelled to create those articles. - Bell'Orso 12:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Lol good strategy actually. I have to admit when I saw all that red I couldn't help but want to fill it in ;-).
That being said, I think people are staying away since they think this project is too small to bother, so I think only having the important stuff on the front page better. Being important articles, this generally means they've been created already though paradoxically. So, whilst I have no problem with adding a few red links to the front page, I feel they should only be their if they are (or will be) important articles. Thats my thoughts.
